A replica of Lord Byron's sword-cane and Sketch by D'Orsay 1823
 

Sketch of Byron is by D'Orsay 1823, Genoa, Italy

It is mentioned in his letters that Byron was known to carry his sword cane with him and even asking to send him a new one after he lost his in the Lake in Switzerland.  It is also mentioned in earlier writings, that he carried his sword cane, along with a pistol in each pocket, while walking the London Streets.
( I bought my replica of Byron's cane from an online shopping site-- listed as: A Classic Gent Sword Cane . The cane is 37" and the sword is 18" )
