A paraphrase from the ÆNEID, LIB. IX

Virgil wrote the ÆNEID (the story of Æneas)
between
26 BC and 19 BC. There is no comparison to the
original,
although
it has been translated many times. But (in my opinion) this
paraphrase of the section on Nisus and Euryalus by Lord Byron is
one of the best!
This poem was included in Byron's Hours of Idleness published
in 1807.
